 Diet Tips From Novak Djokovic:
The Best Workouts For Weight Loss
Most people don’t expect to get diet tips from professional athletes as exercise tips are usually all they give, but in case of Novak Djokovic, ATP’s no. 1 tennis player, diet seems to be key to his success.

The reigning Australian Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion credits his gluten-free diet for unprecedented tennis success and mental stability.

Djokovic has recently shared his daily dietary routine to assist anyone in creating healthy diet habits and feeling their best.

Djokovic starts his day with a full glass of tepid water, followed by two spoonfuls of honey.

Honey is clearly sugar, but rather than feeding your body refined sugar, honey is rich in fructose which is necessary for normal body functioning.

The champ’s breakfast consists of a power bowl, as he calls it, a bowl of gluten-free cereal or oatmeal, a handful of mixed nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, peanuts, seeds such as sunflower or pumpkin seeds, and some fruit on the side, such as banana and berries. This is usually enough but in case it isn’t breakfast #2 can be made from gluten-free toasted bread, tuna fish, and some avocado.

The Serb’s lunch consists of gluten-free pasta and vegetables, which may sound surprising but carbs are better digested during the day than in the evening, when Djokovic stocks up on protein with steaks, chicken, or salmon and a side of veggies, such as zucchini or carrots. His choice of lunch vegetables consists of roasted peppers, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans and carrots.

A relatively strict but attainable diet like this produces healthy results such as better physical stamina, better concentration and lower risk of illnesses, including cardiovascular illnesses and cancer
